Note: The daily evening aarati is performed around 7:30 PM, after devotee entry ends (~5:15 PM). On special occasions such as Durga Puja, timings may be adjusted according to sunset and rituals.

Darshan usually starts at 8:00 AM. The temple remains closed from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM for bhog, and generally closes for devotees by ~5:15 PM. On some days, it may open at 9:00 AM and close by sunset.

- Durga Puja (Sharad Navratri): Special programmes are held and the temple experiences very heavy rush. Expect longer queues and follow entry/exit instructions.
- Ambubachi Mahayog (June): The temple remains closed for a few days during the annual ritual, reopening only after purification rites. Always check official announcements before planning travel.

- No-Tobacco Zone: The entire Nilachal Hill area is tobacco-free.
